Q. When sending out an email, I see small rectangular boxes on my e-business card, will my recipient see these?
A. No. When you open a new email to send it shows where the hotspots (or active links) are on your e business card. When the recipient receives the card these hotspots will not show but will be functional.
Q. If I want information changed on my card, will it change in everyone's email that I sent my card to.
A. Yes, your card is hosted on a server, which allows us to update the information on the server and therefore it automatically updates on your past recipients' computers. Hotspots will not update because they are coded directly into the email.
Q. Is there a way to update the information on my e-card?
A. Yes, you can email your request to support@magnolia-media.com and we will make the necessary changes needed.
A. No. You must use the built in email editor in Outlook or Outlook Express.
Q. Why does my e-business card look blurry on my screen?
A. More than likely your resolution or color display is set incorrectly. Change this by going to "Control Panel" and choose "Display". Click "Settings" and make sure your "Color Quality" is higher than 256 colors.
Q. Will my e-business card take long to download on someone's computer?
A. No. Our e-business cards are optimized for fast loading and include no attachments to your emails.
A. No Images will display, but the text describing you and your company will be displayed (i.e. company name, your name, phone number, website address).
Q. My e-business card shows when I reply to an email, is there a way I can turn that off?
A. Yes. You can configure your email program to not use your e-business card when replying to an email message. To achieve this in Outlook, follow these instructions:
Q. Do you create e-business card for MAC?
A. No. Our e-business cards are designed for sending emails on a Windows platform.
Q. Will everyone I send an e-business card to be able to receive it?
A. The majority of people will be able to see your e-business card. There are some email clients that do not support html in their emails and due to this the card will not be visible.
